Dr Casey McGurk

Dr Casey McGurk joined D.O.C in 2004 after graduating from the 5 year, full-time double degree Osteopathic program at R.M.I.T University.


Sports injury management
Whilst studying, Dr McGurk became a Level 2 Sports trainer working locally with football and netball clubs.  Since graduating she has attended seminars on the management and treatment options for various sporting injuries.

Pregnancy
Dr Casey McGurk developed an interest in treating pregnancy related complaints after seeing the benefits that osteopathy can provide during pregnancy especially for low back pain and pelvic instability.  Dr McGurk has undertaken further studies in the fields of Obstetrics, Gynaecology,

Originally from a small farming community in central Victoria, Casey has a keen interest in sports having played Tennis, Netball, Basketball and Badminton.  She is a passionate member of the Essendon Football Club, loves to travel and is an avid reader.
