Older adults and Osteopathy

In 2008 Dr Martorella completed post-graduate studies in Gerontology.  Through this she gained specialized experience working with older adults, seeing the benefits Osteopathic treatment can have on improving mobility, reducing pain and ultimately enhancing quality of life.

Pregnancy and post-natal care

Osteopathic treatment during pregnancy and in the first few months after labour can be extremely beneficial due to its gentle and specific approach.  Dr Martorella has had great success in treating pelvic instability, pelvic floor weakness, back and hip pain, and in restoring normal mechanics to the body after delivery.

Dr Sarah Martorella enjoys community work, having recently worked in rural communities in Cambodia and northern Thailand.  She also enjoys adventure activities and sport, nature, wildlife and travel.
