Rebecca began tertiary studies at R.M.I.T University and completed her degree in Human Movement in 2002. On completion of her degree Rebecca’s focus was on fitness and rehabilitation working as a Fitness Instructor, Personal Trainer and Strength and Conditioning Coach at various centres around Melbourne. In particular Rebecca has excelled as a Sport Aerobics Coach where she has coached many aerobic teams and individuals at state, national and even international level.
In 2005 Rebecca began work as a hydrotherapist, and in 2006 co-ordinated the Hydrotherapy program at Aquarena YMCA in Doncaster. During this time Rebecca also undertook a teachers training course in Posture and Flexibility (Kit Laughlin) to further her knowledge in stretching and rehabilitation. In 2007 Rebecca has continued her extensive studies by being accepted into the 5 year Osteopathy program at R.M.I.T University. Concurrently, she has continued with her focus on exercise and rehabilitation and joins the team at D.O.C as a qualified Pilates Instructor, incorporating her knowledge of advanced sports training, stretching and postural control, and rehabilitation with all her clients.
Beyond her study and focus on exercise and rehab, Rebecca has travelled through Europe and Asia and is also interested in dancing, touch football, and spending time with her Scotch Collie.
